You're invited to join us for a Preservation meeting and presentation this coming Monday, August 29th, 5:30 p.m. at McNellie's in the large meeting room upstairs.

CORE Tulsa, a small group of Tulsa Preservation Commission staff and volunteers, was organized to tackle the issues of building demolitions and the prevalence of surface parking within the downtown. Our concerns include the loss of our historic architecture, unique identity, urban fabric and economic viability.

CORE Tulsa has determined that these issues should be presented to key stakeholders in Tulsa to encourage their input and further dialogue. Any success in this endeavor will be the result of many groups coming together to formulate policy suggestions and demonstrate widespread community support for addressing these challenges in our downtown.

The presentation Monday evening at 5:30 will highlight the issues facing downtown, feature several success stories that contribute to the vitality of downtown, offer a few ideas and tools, and most importantly provide plenty of opportunity for TulsaNow members to provide feedback, suggestions and input.

We look forward to seeing you there!
