If only I had been called a "little boy" by a draft dodging coward, then maybe it wouldn't hurt so much...

You mean George Bush?

Or Karl Rove?

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

George Bush actually served in the guard.  And you served where/when?

That number strongly suggested signing up. I still remember being a freshman in the dorms at OU as we all were listening on the radio to the numbers being drawn. You could hear groans and shreiks emanating from different areas as students realized their college experience was likely almost over.

You and Red did it all wrong!!  Geez, guys...just get your Senator Daddy to get you into a cushy Air Guard assignment where you don't even have to show up for drills, or anything more than the occasional practice flight!  (Who wouldn't love to get to play "Ricky Racer" in an all expense paid real live fighter jet!!  That would be my definition of 20 something heaven!!)  I don't know what you two were thinking!!??

See note just above this one.

Register with Obama 2012

Got a special milestone or event coming up?

Instead of another gift card you'll forget to use, ask your friends and family for something that will go a little further: a donation to Obama for America. Register your next celebration—whether it's a birthday, bar or bat mitzvah, wedding, or anniversary—with the Obama campaign. It's a great way to show your support for a cause that's important to you on your big day.

Oh my, I can't make this stuff up. This is just beyond my comprehension. Next, they will be asking you to send money to President Obama instead of flowers to your Aunt's Funeral. I sense desperation in President Obama's campaign.

The presidency has become a reality show.

I wonder when President Obama will go after funerals?  I can see a whole line of Obama urns, ribbons and wreaths to commemorate the death of your loved one with a "final" donation of xx% of their estate.

It's called the death tax.  ;D
