Folks, I am telling you, MikeyD did NOT get fired from the Cox affiliates.  He likes to say he was one day and another day he says he left.

The days leading up to his departure from KRMG were odd.  MD was his usually egotistical self, however, he was more brazen.  He was having problems with his computer and walked into the GMs office, dropped his computer on the GMs conference table and said, 'I can't deal with this!"  Not sure the exact issue, but during that time, he was also having issues with some station web masters and demanding that they sensor people who disagreed with him on the message boards.

Well, 2 days after MD drops his computer off in the GMs office, he walks out of the station and quits.   The following Monday, he started his job at Clear Channel.  Hmmm, interesting timing for a guy who likes to claim, half the time anyway, that he was fired.

On one occasion while broadcasting at Clear Channel, MD is chatting with Mark Wedel, someone who WAS fired from Cox Radio (he has moved into sales and was not in broadcasting when this occurred).  Anyway, MD starts talking about how they were both fired from Cox and Mark Wedel, obviously caught off guard, started saying, "uh, yeah, we , um, both, yeah, were fired."

Then, during his first few months at KFAQ, he mentioned getting fired from a couple of radio stations, the Buzz and KRMG, and then corrected himself by saying, "Well, I quite KRMG."

MD is a creation of what ever he wants himself to be at the time.    His indiscretions and ego are legendary all over the entire market.  He even went as far as scheduling a meeting with his former GM at KRMG once after he was fired from the Buzz and suggested they get rid of their afternoon guy (Wes something?) and bring him back.

The GM asked him, "Do you think after all the backstabbing and things you said abotu the people at our station that you could come back?"  Michael's response was, "Oh yeah, they know it's all an act."

MD has an agenda, and it's not for the better of Tulsa.  I like what he changed 1170 into from 9-5, but other than that, it's basically MD's political agenda.

Don't doubt the possibility he runs for office someday.

And Christians beware, the man is not what he says he is.  If you only knew what he has done...
