Historic Tulsa @ the Library: Impressions of the History of Oil in Tulsa
Thursday Nov. 17 2005 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm
This event will be held at Brookside Library.
Event Description: The city of Tulsa was to become the hub of the oil industry after the 1905 Glenn Pool gusher came in. Join James O. Kemm, author of "Tulsa: Oil Capital of the World," as he tells the story of one Oklahoma town's rise to fame and fortune and its emergence as an international leader in business and politics. This program is part of a series planned in celebration of National Archives Week.
This event is for adults and teens.
