UT, Michael Bates, and Vision 2025

Interesting article in the UT by Michael Bates.  Partially about "poor" Arena location/design, but with a bit of twist.

Is this going to be part of Medlock's platform?  Or is Michael Bates getting ready to run?  

My money is on a Bates run for City Council, I don't think Medlock could pull it off.  Though I'd rather get a poke in the eye than admit it, Bates always seems to have some credibility on this type of issue.
