This is my predicament.  I want to remodell our outdated, 17 year old kitchen that is highly dysfunctional.

Two years ago we had a general contractor remodel our master bath and he turned out to be a CON MAN, so I'm scared stiff of hiring a GC again.

Thus far, I have interviewed a tilesetter for the floor, a plumber, and I have an electrician to interview.  Also found a potential HVAC person, but I'm looking for someone who is good at handling drywall.

So why am I posting this here?  Well, since I'm in Tulsa and this is a Tulsa forum, SURELY someone out there knows of good subs (workers), and might be good enough to share that info with me via IM.  I'm going to be my own GC (gotta love us chicks who think we have cajones)[}:)]  But seriously, I've done a lot of research, and will also have a sort of back-up GC just in case there is a problem, but the coordinating of workers and making sure I have everything I need on site BEFORE they arrive here will be done by me.

Luckily I am not working at the moment.

Anyone care to share some wisdom, recommend workers or just tell me I'm nuts?[:I]
