Call for entries for DFEST Theme Contest Deadline

Dfest 2006 is hosting its first contest to design the Theme for the 2006 music conference and festival.

Starts February 15 and ends April 14

Simply design a theme for the Dfest 2006 Music Conference & Festival.  This design will be used on our official Dfest posters, the program guide, the compilation CD, tradeshow bags and on the official Dfest tshirts.

The design can be anything relating to the theme of independent music, as long as it adheres to the submission guidelines below.

Things to note...
Make sure your design can stand alone. The purpose is to create a design INSPIRED by the theme of independent music.  Also, Dfest is a multi-genre event, so the theme should appeal to a wide array of musical tastes. The design MUST say "Dfest" on it somewhere but is not required to include the Diversafest/Dfest logo. Get artistic and create an original design.

The person who designs the winning design for Dfest 2006 will receive:

   * Two All-Event Badges to the 2006 DFEST Conference & Festival ($300 value)
   * Your design will be announced on the dfest.com website and the Dfest MySpace account
   * Winning design will be officially presented and unveiled at the Dfest Kick-Off Party
   * Two Official Dfest tshirts bearing your winning design
   * $200 Cash
   * Design will be printed on the official tradeshow bags, the official program guide, official tshirts, the compilation CD and the official Dfest poster
