Web design help

I have a question for all you techies out there... I need to learn basic web design. I am not familiar with html and I know there are a lot of online tutorials but I think I need to learn it from someone, face to face. Does anyone (TCC , TTC) offer this sort of class? Any help, opinions, information is greatly appreciated. I would prefer to learn it using Mac OSX.
