Ugh, summer starts with a bang

Please export some of the relatively cooler weather down here to Texas. It's basically mid to upper 90s here all week and my neck of the woods hasn't had any significant rain in about 8 weeks. My water bill is through the roof! If the last few weeks are any indicator, it'll be a very long, hot summer. Forecasters are predicting around 45 days or so of over 100 degree temps, and it DOESN'T rain once the Mexican plume installs itself over the area. I'm an avid weather watcher and during the summer I've seen very strong systems headed right our way and they literally fall apart once they reach the heat island we call the DFW Metroplex. One such system did that last week. Two miles to the West of me we had multiple inches of rain while my city received a few sprinkles.
Oh well, at least we have the month or so of 60/70 degree days to look forward to down here come December and January. Is Tulsa doing okay with rain thus far this year?
