Question:
Name 2 things that cost $40 Million

Answer:
The proposed "American" sculpture,
and...
The Bellagio Fountain

Question: which would you rather see in Tulsa?

Imagine... Take one of our big 'ol surface parking lots downtown.  Dig a hole.  Build a fountain like the Bellagio...surround it with pedestrian-friendly strolling/viewing space...line the facing streets with cafes, bars, shops (from which patrons could enjoy the show curbside).

Think about the energy of a great fountain downtown! (Combined, of course, with the necessary mixed-use development...)

Another example (more modest in scale), I used to live in Lexington, KY near Triangle Park.

People were always hanging out at the park. Day and night. I think the water draws people.  Old, young, families, couples, folks with guitars, friends...it was energetic or romantic depending on the time of day...but always delightful.

Let's talk, Tulsa...
