Chicken Little

From Tulsa World:

quote:
"I believe Speaker Hastert and the Republican Conference responded appropriately to former Congressman Foley's appalling conduct, and we must allow the investigation into his disgraceful behavior and who might have had prior knowledge of it to go forward," he said. "As a society, we must ensure our children are nurtured and protected. We have no greater responsibility."

Yo. Sparky. "prior knowledge"?  It is already clear that Hastert, Reynolds, Boehner, and many top Republicans were informed about Foley's conduct as early as 2003.

If you think that Sullivan is trying to sweep this under the rug for political reasons, you just might be right.  Sullivan is trying to protect the people that allowed Foley, the Predator from Florida, to operate freely for years.  In a month, you can send a message to Congressman Sullivan.  Tell him how you feel about coverups and whitewashes; consider voting for one of John Sullivan's opponents:

Democrat Alan Gentges

Independent Bill Wortman

Thats from good ol' Bill Wortman. Please don't consider voting for all of Sullivans opponents.

'Voluntary racial seperation'?  Yeah, for me, the consideration didn't take too long.

Sullivan is just another neo con family value crusader who like our President participates in their misguided and devious plan for America.

What has John Sullivan accomplished for Tulsa and Oklahoma since he took office?

He's so far right? ..... hopefully, not past 08.

NellieBly

I really wish Gentges had a chance. God forbid we are stuck with John Sullivan for the next 20 years like we have been with Jim "can you help me with my prop" Inhofe. They are both a constant source of ridicule.

Family value crusader my donkey. If he's so worried about the kids then maybe he needs to stay here and help take care of his own.

John's Party...

"Over the coming week, all Americans should take time to honor the rich history of predatory behavior by the Republican Party."

Chicken Little

The D-triple C thinks Gentges has a chance.  Not exactly a newsflash, since its their job to think that.[:)]  Nevertheless, 44% in a three-way race with a GOP split...probably not the best time to be signin' letters of support for Hastert.

John Sullivan is a very dangerous hatemonger who appears prepared to stop at nothing to advance his political career, no matter who gets hurt.  Another fine example of what has become of Republicans and their so called "values."

Dangerous hatemonger?  Really now, where did you come up with that?  Examples, please.  In what way other than trying to come up with initiatives in his district to combat illegal immigration?

Sullivan is an intellectually-challenged yes boy for the GOP, but hatemonger?

Well, I have a life and I haven't been keeping a written list of Sullivan's offenses, at least until I decide to make that my life.  But among the stories that have caught my attention was his recent trip to a nursing home where he scared the old folks with tales of terrorists crossing the border.  Shortly after that the Tulsa World (about as mainstream as you can get in Tulsa) blasted him for using unfounded scare tactics.

Ask Latin people if Sullivan is a hatemonger.  Ask his church if he has responded to their request to stop trampling on immigrants.  Apparently Sullivan believes it doesn't matter who you step on to advance your career.

NellieBly

It must be difficult for him to watch his mom give aid and comfort to the enemy (illegal immigrants).
