   As a result, the US is headed toward what Tom Engelhardt has called "the mother of all Constitutional crises."

Truthout has no credibility. They're the same clowns that cited unnamed sources, claiming Rove was indicted for perjury.

It doesn't matter if truthout has any credibilty.  If you don't think the Bush administration is gonna try to cover their donkey about Iraq then you a nut job.  It is very clear the Dems said they are not gonna impeace and they are not gonna cut funding.  Wake up man they are both playing for the same team.  You want real change you are not gonna find it in the dems or reps.

<end clip>

You spout all kinds of wild conspiracy theories that are completely unproven and based on specious data, and YOU call me a nutjob.

Unlike you, I believe that credibility matters. Battling a president with no credibility with a media outlet that has no credibility gets you nowhere.

Senator Kennedy's remarks at the National Press Club are available on C-SPAN.

His point is that the original authorization of force related to the invasion, and that the 'surge' represents a new conflict in the face of a civil war.

Yesterday (1/9/7) there was a hellacious gunbattle on the streets and rooftops of Baghdad. 1000 combined forces were trapped by 'insurgents' for ten hours.
