Kinda pisses you off how these chumps in charge have violated the public trust.... it was great to grow up the last 40 years. Things will never be that good again after these criminals get finished trashing our justice system....

"Democratic senators are concerned that the high turnover is linked to an obscure, recently passed provision of the Patriot Act. The provision allows the Bush administration to fill vacancies with interim prosecutors for the remainder of the president's term without submitting them to the Senate for confirmation. Previously, interim appointments were made by a vote of federal judges in the districts served by the outgoing U.S. attorneys."

Next Aox will claim that a black helicopter crashed in his back yard and he found a briefcase hidden inside.

When the briefcase opened, he found President Bush's secret plans to destroy the universe.

Tomorrow we will enter into the plea to have it torn away.

I try to filter it down to the basics and determine the best reads. Funny you condemn KOS and Countdown. Their following have grown fast at the expense of Fox noise, er news.

Don't you see the common denominator in this leadership? No Credibility, No Road Map. We do not like being in the position to condemn the President and his right wing extremists. They need to move to the center and they don't get it.

BTW, I post from this amazing web site....

"The Alberto Gonzales Appointments: How the Process Has Changed and Why this is so Important
Adam Lambert (clammyc)"
30 January 2007

http://www.epluribusmedia.org/features/2007/20070130_gonzales_appointments.html

"What this does, in effect, is allow the Attorney General to appoint anyone so long as the appointee was not previously submitted and refused by the Senate. Once again, the powers of the Legislative Branch are being stripped from the process and shifted to the Executive Branch. Further, this is currently being questioned as potentially unconstitutional in that it is delegating the authority to make such appointments from the President (under Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution) to the Attorney General."

Balking on Bundling
Lobbying legislation must require that K Street report the campaign cash it collects for lawmakers.

"DISTURBING, though not particularly surprising, rumblings are emanating from the House of Representatives to the effect that some Democrats are balking at requiring lobbyists to disclose the campaign contributions they arrange or collect for lawmakers."
