About the Tulsa Guitar Society:
The Tulsa Guitar Society promotes fingerstyle guitar in the greater Tulsa area by providing a forum for guitarists to meet, share ideas and techniques, jam together, and announce their performances.  We cover a range of guitar styles including classical, jazz, flamenco, folk, new age, and blues.  Meetings are held once a month and are open to the public so if you'd like to bring your guitar and join in, or if you'd prefer to just listen you're more than welcome. Most members play nylon string guitars but we do have a few who play a steel string so if that's your preference it's not a problem. Although our focus is on fingerstyle guitar we do allow guitarists to use a pick on occasion provided they are playing an acoustic guitar or a hollowbody electric.
