Good seeing you last weekend Ed.  Great class.

For anyone who rides on a regular basis, or intends to, whether for commuting or for recreation, I recommend signing up for the Leauge of American Bicyclists "Road I" course. Lots of good info, plus you get a snazzy certificate to put on your wall once you've completed the course.

Ed, who should they contact to sign up?

There's a sign-up on the Tulsa Parks webpage, though it's a little difficult to find.  We have another class coming up in July.  We're doing these at quarterly intervals presently, but if demand ramps up, we'll offer them more frequently.  Let's HOPE we have to do them more often!

Sandra and I were talking about starting a class on bicycle repair, too.  There's some local interest.  OKC has a regular repair class, but I don't know about attendance.

Finally, and this is for Patrick, I was glad you were there.  We had some good discussions, and I think that even the experienced cyclists - that is, gray-haired old farts like me - can learn something new in Road1.  It truly is a 2-way street.

May you live in interesting times.

When I lived in Texas in the 1980's I went offten to the Trinity bike/jogging trail in western Fort Worth, they used to have a small stand that sold snacks, and river paddle boat rides and bike rentals for the jogging trail. I guess that place is no longer there. It sat on a side street just west of University Drive, where the trail runs under the street. That place was busy on weekends.
