Isn't there also a very popular Islamic rapper making the circuits too?

On a local note, we spent last Friday night at Sr. Tequila at Harvard and 51st. The entertainment was three Mexican guitarists singing old plantation songs and country western with a Mexican accent and guitar flourishes. It was great! They were having as much fun as we were, singing "When those cotton balls get rotten, you can't pick very much cotton..." with Mexican flair.

Good margaritias too.

yeah those guys are great.  I quit going though because Senor Tequilas kept changing their schedule.  i went one time and another band was playing some cuban ish music or something with bingos, I didn't like it at all.
