MTTA extends bus route to Cherokee Ind. Park

Good story in the World about Tulsa Transit's decision to extend the 105 bus route (goes n/s on Peoria).  It seems to me that they are starting to get more sophisticated in their thinking.  In this case, they are not just reacting to the ridership numbers du jour, but establishing a link between jobs and workers.  If they can keep up this route, then over time it will influence where some workers choose to live, thus creating a stable ridership.  It's these kinds of "leaps of faith" that can make MTTA self-sufficient and transform Tulsa into a transit-friendly community.
