so there is going to be a meeting to determine if there will be a meeting?  I see government is hard at work.[}:)]

Support for at least considering measures to give neighborhoods a voice sounds like a fine idea.

Given the pro-development mentality at everyones expense -- it is vital that we demand the public forums to happen.

If they plan to gauge interest in Preservation Districts (or something similar) by the number of people who can take a day off work to watch a powerpoint show, it's not going to be a very accurate representation.

Good lawd. So sad but true.

yes, which is exactly why they are having a meeting to see if they will have a meeting.  All the developer turds will show up and say lots of bull**** like "we dont need this, just trust us to do a good job"  and then the bought and paid for "volunteer" commissioners will decide "hey, you know you guys are right"  Then they will have a closing comments section where they pat each other on the back and then adjourn.

If you think this is bull****, just go watch a TMAPC meeting something.  it is just one big pro development orgy.
