This is actually the church I attend. It's an excellent church for those of catholic faith or any faith. They have had a youtube account for a while actually. I was told they added a new video a while ago on the history of the church (and Tulsa) but I have only remembered to watch it today.

This is probably the most insightful and informative video you're gonna get on the church. It also has very interesting photos of the church with Tulsa in the backdrop. If you have about 22 minutes to spare and have any interest in a part of Tulsa's history then this will be worth it to you. Just thought i'd share this with you guys...

Note: The Knights of Columbus still attend major masses. Bishop Edward Slattery, Monsignor James Halpine, Reverend Gregory Gier, and Reverend Matt Gerlach are all still around and I know that Bishop Slattery and Monsignor Halpine both have fairly long ties with the church...or at least as far back as I can remember.

It definitely ranks up there with some of the most beautiful churches/cathedrals in Tulsa... up there with First United and its gothic design.

I think I could enjoy this video if not for the fact the Church bought the "Tulsa Apartments Building" just to have it torn down for a parking lot......

That small move displaced many elderly Tulsan's, lower income individuals, and some handicapped residents...

That move truly marked the end for many other buildings and business in the area..
