the artist's depiction is kinda how they developers are painting this picture also ... no truth in any of it and there's going to be impacts felt for years once the dams go up ... negative impacts. some of which no ones even thought of yet.

Oh, come on now, the no taxes crowd has come up with a lot that the river plan would lead to:

Homeless people everywhere, rampant crime, drug use, dead fish, corruption, drinking, deadly polluted water, tax vampires, playground for the rich, a huge unused park, life sucking suburbs, city robbing the suburbs, county robbing the city, evil women in charge, ugly developments, unsafe paving stones, wasteful lighting, more jobs for illegal immigrants, Indians robbing the white man at casinos, Christian ministers getting paid off, children being taken advantage of in commercials, evil banks will get richer, Jenks will take over the world, bankrupcy for the city, bad roads in Broken Arrow, bad roads in Tulsa, traffic jams, visitors, oligarchy robbing the poor, the poor going hungry, elderly people won't be able to afford medicine, ruined enviornment, flooding, dead terns, and lots and lots of Nazi's running around in charge of everything.

It will be hell on earth.

This is all why election time is called the silly season.

You forgot about all these gathering places being bigger magnets for more of the illicit public sexual activity known to occur frequently on the river. I wonder if the sex crimes/vice unit will have to be stationed on the river after all these gathering places are built?

Considering all the completely irrational claims by the pro tax crowd about this tax being a cure all for all of Tulsa's problems, I find it amusing that you would be calling the No side out. If anybody is making delusional claims or misrepresenting the impact the tax will have it is the yes side.

Dont forget more rapes along the trail, people drowning in quicksand, flesh eating bacteria, noxious fumes, more bridges for people to jump off of and commit suicide (descisions descisions) the destruction of all fishing in Oklahoma, all that water causing a redistribution of mass on the earth surface resulting in the the earth spinning off its axis and hurtling into the sun...
