An advertising insert in today's Lorton's World has a full-page spread advertising the limited edition book:

Tulsa's Daily World:  The Story of a Newspaper and Its Town.

I pondered the title.

Curious phrasing, The Story of a Newspaper and ITS Town.

Wouldn't it have been more modest to have titled it:

The story of a Town and its NEWSPAPER.

Does the Lorton's World think that OUR Town belongs to THEM???

Apparently so.

Wonder if the vacumned newspaper file archives from 1921 have been finally located??  You know the ones....

Afterall, even Hillary Rodham Clinton's Rose Law firm lost billing records EVENTUALLY re-surfaced??

Tulsa's Daily World:  The Story of a Newspaper and Its Town.  Only $43.50 + $5.00 S&H.  Direct from the Publisher.

Tulsa World has a town.

It's mostly imaginary.

Compare to the story of the Daily Oklahoman and ITS town, OKC... rinse, repeat.  [:O]

Those files are hidden with the headlines from the Tribune and Jimmy Hoffa's body. Something tells me you know where!

Yes, that may have been a telling slip on their part. No different however than me referring to it as my town. We're both egotistical enough to speak that way whether the intent was there or not. But then you always look for the dark lining.

Well............It may very well be the Town belonging to H20 and The Tulsa World.....!!!!

But it's my RIVER.....

Yes, there are some definite similarities between K-Town and Gaylordsville.

The Lorton's World pondered mightily on just the right phrasing for their self-aggrandizing title.

And, Waterboy, it is not your town.

It is not my town.

It is their town.

And, a Kaiser River Tax Runs Through It.

The Kaiser River.

Runs through County of Kaiser.

City of Kaiserslautern.

K-Town.
