Anyone know of a good computer-technical forum?

When I first got online I somehow found a "hackers" site, which really wasn't a hackers' site at all, but a really good place to get just about any question about computer technical issues answered. I think it was like El Fukero's (I'm being courteous in the spelling of that name) or something, but the host that had hosted it back in the late '90s is now out of biz. I haven't seen the site for years now, but I sure do miss it. It was a great place to go to ask just about any inquirey that most any computer user could have, and get good, knowledgable answers, sometimes several opinions based on others' experiences.

Sure would like to find something like that again! I'm sure it's out there, I just don't know where to look.
