Racial taunting in Owasso school

One amusing aspect is how this is some amazing NEW problem.  America has hated every successive immigrant group starting right after the Puritans (who hated the Quakers).  The English hated the Germans when they came, who hated the Irish, who hated the Italians, who hated the Eastern Europeans who then migrated West to hate the Asians while everyone hated the emancipated Africans who can now join in hating the Hispanics.  

The only real question is who the Hispanics will hate in 50 years. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Where is it lawful to harass anyone on the basis of ethnicity?  Can any of us look at someone and know if they're illegals?  Or is that assumption based on their brown skin?

I must have missed that day in civics class.

I have the utmost respect for people who serve this country.  In my book, however, it does not give you carte blanche to turn your back on an American.  You served as a soldier (marine, airman, sailor), now serve as a citizen.

Why is it "frivolous" when a bunch of jerky kids in Owasso discriminate against an American girl because she is Hispanic?  Last I checked, that was illegal, friend.  That kind of criminality is not excused in HB 1804.  Do you think that it should be?

Singling out an American girl like this is flat-out criminal, and if you think that I'm going to let you off the hook for minimalizing this criminal behavior and marginalizing this young American, you are wrong.  Do you give two sh*ts about the law, or don't you?
