There is no doubt that many televangelists create a cult called the "prosperity gospel." However, over the years this university has looked less on the Roberts for stability, and more on the general principles of the Christian faith and the quality of the faculty there (at least for the students). Don't get me wrong... as interviews with students over the dilemma have shown, some of them still depend on the guidance of the Roberts. I simply think that this dependence is not as pronounced as it once was. If the Board of Regents know what they are doing, they can separate the Roberts from the formula, and make it better than it ever has been.
