TulsaNow lunch for February 29

I must not be getting enough abuse online and crave the harrassment that you guys give me in person.

I was thinking we should have lunch at Topeca in the Mayo Hotel. The best date for my calendar is Friday, February 29th.

That is a leap day so everybody leap on over and have a crepe, a sandwich, or just a cup of coffee with us. They also have awesome muffins and pastries and I've had the white chocolate, hot chocolate. There should be no monetary excuses. This is probably payday for most of the employed posters here.

This place is on fifth street downtown between Boulder and Cheyenne. The restaurant is casual and we can save some spots over on the wall in case more show up than normal.

Who can make it between 11:15 and 1:00?

I unfortunately will be in Dallas for some meetings all day.  Maybe one on the weekend some afternoon down the road? now that football season is over, sunday afternoon's are open for me.

It was quite the power lunch. Judges, elected officials, titans of industry all ate there today.

But when the Tulsa girl from American Idol walked in, I thought I was going to die. I just saw her last night on the telly, and her she is eating lunch at the same restaurant as us TulsaNow posters. I am glad that sgrizzle started the standing ovation, it was cool and she really appreciated it.

I'm telling you, that place is like our local Brown Derby restaurant.
