Hey, C-Dog, you and your spandex-clad, special interest mafia group better rush over to  Catoosa and poke around about what exactly they intend to teach kids about biking.  Probably more of the same stupid drivel about staying out of traffic and bike the sidewalks.

Catoosa city and school officials are trying to make walking and biking to school safer for students.

The city has submitted the first part of its application for an Oklahoma Safe Routes to School grant to construct a sidewalk along Cherokee Street from its intersection with U.S. 167 (193rd East Avenue) north to the Helen Paul Learning Center, 2000 S. Cherokee St., Catoosa Mayor Rita Lamkin said.

The $220,000 request includes $20,000 for educational projects to teach students about pedestrian and biking safety, Lamkin said.
