It's been four years now since the kickoff of the classic and here they are again:

Lou Reynolds and Jim Cameron once again being reappointed to the Tulsa Metropolitan Utility Authority. Somehow, they've made it onto the May 1 Council Agenda without any prior discussion. Items 2b & 2c.

Besides that, aren't these two the ones who first insulted our newest Mayor shortly after her entry into the Tulsa scene by pulling fast ones in what the Mayor termed a "lack of transparency" on this board?

And, they are also largely, if not directly responsible for the increases in your water bills over the last three years.

Isn't it finally time for someone else to serve our fair city, or are we just going to let them get their strike three and embarrass us again, as they surely will.

Seems Reynolds and Cameron scratch each others backs and attempt to run this Public Trust Authority like it's their own private business.

TIME FOR A CHANGE!

Council, I dare you to reject these appointments and ask Mayor Taylor to submit new candidates for her appointments.

lou reynolds?  pancakes?  he is practically in bed with the mayor by representing public enemy #1, Developer Bumgarner.

the "terms conflict of interest" don't do this justice.

Thought I'd add that further down tonight's Council Agenda, Item's 6a takes surplus TMUA funds to the order of $3.4 million for regular Public Works projects, along with Item 6c which takes another near million. Total about $4.3 million.

Then, there's Item 7b, which takes another $1.8 million from TMUA to cover Ice Storm costs, salary increases and regular Public Works Dept repairs and maintenance, along with $316K "to satisfy payment in lieu of taxes" whatever that means.

Lastly, Item 7j is a Zoning Change PUD Major Amendment requested by TMUA Director Lou Reynolds for Cresta Gold Fund, LP at SW corner of 66th St & South Memorial.

.....kind of hard to imagine what discussions have taken place.

Don't 'spose reappointments came up, do you?
