Hello [:D]I'm looking for any info. on this years  event .Where is the best place to park ? Where is the best side of the River to watch it from ? Also what's the best time to get down there to get a Good spot and  find parking ? Thanks Honeybee[:D]

West Bank

East Bank is nuts.

No matter how early we get there or where we sit there's always a tree blocking our view. LOL Some people say standing on the 11th St bridge gives a clear view. Like sgrizzle says, West Bank is better than East. The earlier the better. You might go anytime between now and then and scout your spot. Parking on the westside is almost nil. Last year my husband and I mounted our bicycles on the back of the car and parked on a side street near 15th and Peoria then rode our bikes down to the river. That was the best time we ever had doing the 4th on the river.

Well, the tree problem won't be as bad since the ice storm.

For years we went to Veterans Park with the kids. Live music, plenty of space to spread a blanket or folding chairs and security is good. People park in Maple Ridge and other surrounding neighborhoods and leisurely walk to the area which is also fun.

Best is hard to say but worst isn't. Thats East bank at 19th street.

The years we didn't feel like battling the crowds or if we got a late start, we went to watch the Bells fireworks which imo was the best anyway. With Bells gone who will be the best now?

I like the West side at the skateboard park. Here are a few from 2005 taken there with a P&S. Get there early.

The Cyrus Avery Memorial parking lot might be a good spot. Not many parking spots but it could work.

Ok Thank you all for your response[:D]Sounds like Cali.[8D] Millons of People and you just have to get there and find a place to stand or sit .We always watch them at the Big Collage in Cali.[8D] I just wanted to show them how Tulsa does it [:D]Branson is where were headed the next day and they have a Great fireworks show I been told maybe we should just go there and spend the night as were going to Silver Dollor City the next day .

Doesnt Bells have a big display each year?  THATS where I'm going as soon as my 757 is parked at the gate and the "Fasten Seat Belts" sign is extinguished

Bells has closed down, so I do not think that there will be a show there this year.
