Even if they came back during the pretty part of the year....I don't think it will improve the huge pot hole in the middle of my street.

In April 2008, Google Street View cars were spotted in Italy with laser scanners added to the scanning array on the car. These would be used for gathering 3D data as well as images

Some of the houses on the N side of I-44 between Peoria and Lewis were in the process of being moved when the pictures were taken.

Judging by the lack of automobiles parked at some of the businesses, it appears that the pictures of the 41th and Sheridan industrial district were taken on a holiday, or else very early in the morning.  However, a USPS truck is visible on E 46th St S, so who knows.
