I don't know why I bother, but...

The difference is when I park my car somewhere I have no choice.  I am not being a jerk and intentionally depriving another car nor a bike a parking place.  I do not intentionally block bike lanes, I do try to hinder their ability to park.  Hence, it's not rally hogging.

In fact, even if someone WAS hogging the parking space you still admit that there was somewhere else you could park.  Thus, you were bing an donkey just for the sake of being an donkey and/or to draw more attention to yourself.  

There's a reason why the local bike clubs don't want to be associated with them.  It's because you give them a bad name.  Again, being an donkey just for the sake of being such will not further your cause.

But enjoy your attention.

no offense, but where the hell is mercury lounge? Also, I would prefer some parking lot, say lafortune park? And please where your santa suit.  Would love to give the people driving by a nice show.

BTW grahambino I am 6'1, about 210 pounds.  I am pretty confident I can hold my own against some lil ***** on a bike that rides around in a santa suit.

1) I didn't say it wasn't being advanced.  I said they didn't want to associate with you.
