And to the Republican defenders that are chastising folks that bring up sex, have you stopped to consider that the Republicans have based a couple of election cycles on politicizing gay relationships?

Huh?

No more than the Democrats have politicized gay marriage.

The Democrats love homosexuals until they can publicly humilate one and run him out on rails like Mark Foley.  Whom, I might mention, was indignantly called a pedophile repeatedly by Democrats, which was patently false.  I felt that was pretty low and surprized at how much gays could have cared less.

Please, no one start the tired old lecture of the GOP and their morals and that is all to blame.  The Democrats aren't above "Rovian tactics" hell, they invented it.

The Dems are so quick to demonize and cannibalize any part of their core which winds up in the GOP.  How much do you think the Dems would have stood for if Palin were Obama's running mate and she was getting the same treatment?  Answer is:  It wouldn't have happened.

They are pissed and frightened a strong woman could be VP.  They knew all along in 1984 that Mondull/Ferraro didn't have a chance in hell against Reagan.  They knew they were not going to seat a female VP that year.  They have not picked a female running mate ever since and missed the opportunity with Hillary this time around.   The DNC isn't serious about putting a woman in the White House, they've paid nothing but lip service to it up to this point.

The Dems have crapped all over old people, disabled vets, women, and pregnant teens thus far this election.  Smart independents are seeing the sheer hypocrisy from the Democrat party and their media minions and they are repulsed, going the other way.  It's no surprise.  I think more moderate Dems are headed that way too.

Don't count out the disaffected Hillary voters.  Yes, Obama will get many of them, but I think the media treatment of Palin is starting to piss off a lot of women.

It must a case of selective hearing because the talking heads I listen to say that Palin is pissing off a lot of women.

Hey, between you and me, isn't it weird seeing these 70 something Republicans rocking out to the 20 something rock groups.  You Republicans got some really old folks.  Maybe you'll all just pass away.

If I sought out core female Obama supporters, I guarantee you I could show you a lot of women she pissed off too.  I can find and report any angle, that's the way media works.  What they publish is what they want you ultimately to believe.  Any woman who had already made her mind up for Obama likely didn't respond well to Palin's speech.

Hey, you are a lot closer to the term "geriatric" than I am!  [;)]

Fade away, not pass away...
