To be fair to Palin, her started from a grass roots effort.  It was a kid in Colorado blogging from his mother's house, but grass roots none-the-less.

Question:

How many MINUTES of executive experience does Barack the Redeemer possess?

Answer:

ZERO.

-0-

Nada.

Zilch.

0.0000000000000000000

As Jon Stewart pointed out on the Daily Show last night, the above is equally true of Senator McCain.  If executive experience weighed heavily, Sarah Palin would be the top of the ticket.

Navy Captain John McCain served as Squadron Commander after he returned from 5 1/2 years as a P.O.W.

As Squadron commander, he was responsible for several hundred personnel, millions in Navy property and airplanes, accomplishing the missions assigned, and the health, welfare and discipline of the military unit.

Commander.

Next Job:  Commander-in-Chief.

If so, I hope his capacity for learning is better now than it was when he was near the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy.  Or else we're in for a long four years.  Again.

I heard something last night on the radio from one of the commentators, McCain somewhat resented that he was pre-ordained to be at the academy by birth, and therefore set about bucking authority and skirting rules.  It had nothing to do with being a poor student.  Poor attitude toward the academy, sounds like it.  He was put in a command position after the war, so he couldn't have been that big of a boob.

At least McCain has been open and honest about his college years.  Why won't Obama let us see his transcripts from Columbia and Harvard?  That's been standard since the 2000 election.

Would it matter to the media?

The documents from Obama's involvement with William Ayers and the Woods Foundation were released last week.  How many reporters in the dinosaur media have been assigned to review those documents?  I can bet it's ZERO.

But you don't know.

And the right wingnut press vultures have the same access to that information. So what gives?

Saint William Jefferson Clinton's grades from George University and Yale were never released.

We were just supposed to believe he was real smart because he could talk real fast from both sides of his mouth like a used car salesman.

Or a Southern politician.
