No. 1 Oklahoma vs.
No. 5 Texas at Dallas
Noon ET, ABC

Three years ago, the politically-correct powers-that-be changed the name of this classic slice of college football from "Red River Shootout" to "Red River Rivalry." The old moniker would perfectly describe the 103rd renewal of this brouhaha.

Even though both teams feature stout defenses, gunslingers Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford will engage in a classic shootout. McCoy has really blossomed this season, but against the Oklahoma defense he'll need some help with the ground game. Currently, he inappropriately leads Texas in rushing with 317 yards in five games.

Not only do the Longhorns have to be mindful of game-breaking running backs DeMarco Murray and Chris Brown, Bradford's primary targets Juaquin Iglesias and Manuel Johnson should be able to take advantage of a Texas defense that ranks at No. 96 against the pass and has only two interceptions this season.

If Will Muschamp's defense can't interrupt Oklahoma's penchant for starting fast - the Sooners have outscored their victims 103-3 in the first quarter this season - Texas will have a hard time playing catch-up against Bob Stoops' fastbreak attack.

Oklahoma 34-31

Forgot to correct for stupid referring. Interception negated and Texas kicks field goal?! He took two steps and hit the ground then let go of ball. Stupid.
