Welp, there you have it.
So, what happens to all those lucrative contracts with the BOK?

REF: Arena Football Cancels 2009 Season

If you read down at the end of the article, AF2, which is what the talons and OKC team are in, are not affected by this because they are a separate league. They will play in 2009.

AF2's season is still on.  The AF got too big for their shoes and entered markets with too much entertainment competition.  They ditched Des Moines and OKC for Chicago and Dallas.  I thought it was a dumb move at the time and feel somewhat vindicated!

When I read that, I was hoping that the case, but didn't know what league the Talons were.

Clears that up, then. So, we can still rake in all those profits.

Was this an attempted attack on Tulsa, the BOK arena, the Talons, or Arena Football?

Wrinkle is just ready to complain about anything city-related.

AFL teams should go to nearby major cities to NFL cities. OKC, Tulsa, San Antonio, Wichita, etc. With OKC having an NBA team I have argued that Tulsa should go AFL. Or Tulsa get NHL and OKC get AFL. Market all of them as state teams and get them broadcast statewide on cable.
