Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Will Rogers a movie star who commented on the state of politics to the nation?   Was he a regular member of the press or would he be considered a pundit?  And people appreciated his jabs at politicians and the media of that day and still do today.  So why is it so offensive for someone like Jon Stewart to make his statements.  So he is a comedian, that does not mean that he might not have an idea or two.  Isn't Ben Stein who shows up on Fox News all the time a comedian by trade?  Mr Stein has been known to be idealistic and share his opinions about the state of the world.
It's hard being a Diamond in a rhinestone world.

Bueller?  Bueller?

Sorry, you had to know you'd get that by invoking Ben Stein.

Stein was a speech writer for Nixon and Ford.

Jon Stewart is excellent.

We live in an era where the fake news is real and the real news is fake.

An era where satire is mightier than the sword.
