TheftAwareness

A crime may only last a few seconds but the impact can last a lifetime.  Victims of crime need help, and help is available.  For 25 years, the Victims of Crime Act has supported thousands of agencies and millions of victims throughout the nation.  The fund helps provide victim compensation and victim assistance, such as domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers.  It funds information and support for victims as their cases move through the courts.

CARDS Organization assists victims of property crimes (theft) by providing dialogue to them from their offender.  CARDS also teaches a very comprehensive victim impact program to juvenile and adult property crime offenders.  If you or someone you know has been harmed by crime, please contact Diana Dickinson via e-mail to gain more information about services available in our community.  If you would like to tell your story for victim impact, please state that in your e-mail.

Thanks to the Victims of Crime Act, signed by former President Ronald Reagan, help is available.
Please contact us if you wish to volunteer at the event.
