There is one going in at 81st and Garnett just west of the bank on the corner (IBC Bank, I think) but I don't know much about the chain and I can't find anything online that isn't regional.  Anyone have any experiences with this place?

I hope it's good, it's right by my house!   :)

There is one at 51st and Harvard....   I don't know if they are moving or expanding.

It is like a Shogun..   They do all the neat stuff as you sit around the grill.

It is definately NOT Shogun.

It's better.

This is their second store.

Good people. Hard working. VERY CLEAN.

Little too much butta and salt but the kidz love it....

I'm the opposite. I prefer Shogun over Osaka. And I prefer Tokyo Garden over the other two.  :P

I have to throw my vote in for Osaka over Shogun. I gave Shogun 3 tries when I first moved back to Tulsa and looking for a substitute for Wichita Fall's Samurai of Tokyo (still my favorite hibachi anywhere in the US).  We were were disappointed with Shogun every time. It's mostly about the sauces for me and Osaka's is just better, IMO. The presentation at both places is just fine, if a little uneven depending on the chef and time of day. I only tried Tokyo Gardens once, and it seemed to be a better place to go for sushi, but I'm not really interested in that.  I'm thrilled to hear of a new Osaka going in less than 5 miles from me. I think it will do quite well if their standards carry over from the 51st and Harvard location. I just hope they don't get too distracted with the sushi, which I notice is in the new name.
