TV Guide On Screen and Cox

Anybody using a television equipped with TV Guide On Screen and using Cox?  And does it work?

I keep getting conflicting information from Cox as to whether they push the TV Guide On Screen info through their cable network.

I have a television that has a built in DVR and can use a CableCARD.  I thought I could save a few bucks by converting to the CableCARD but can't get straight answers from Cox.  If I convert to the CableCARD, I lose the interactive program guide provided by Cox, but my TV will do TV Guide On Screen, so no big deal, if it will work.

Any help out there?
