These days I typically end up watching post-Dobbs CNN and Bloomberg.
I have no idea why I watch Bloomberg, except that late at night it does help me get to sleep.

The youtube scary music video that threatens the DNC and Obama is kin to the same kinds of emails I used to get from anonymous people telling me Obama's a secret-muslim, the left's Messiah/anti-Christ, a secret-terrorist, a closet-communist, and that his wife HATES AMERICA.

I lived in Chicago long enough to have heard of Obama back in the 90s and rooted for Obama when he ran against former black panther Bobby Rush for a southside house seat.  I was also very happy when he won the dem primary for Senate against a gaggle of better funded establishment dems.... then pummeled Alan Keyes in the general.

Politics is compromise.
I fear Obama will be too good a politician than he needs to be; I fear he will allow Rahm Emanuel to become his Karl Rove.

But I do not fear democracy; and I do not fear that Obama may be closer to my worldview than any previous president.

Go ahead, skewer him over the coals after he's been in office 6 years...... but I bet six years from now we won't be a socialist state with "death panels" determined to "pull the plug on grandma"

Don't ask me to play nice when somebody produces a scary-music youtube video intended to stir up fear and conspiracy theories.....
