From the Tulsa World.  I love the reader's comments section:

"Undercover police officers set up a phony ransom exchange with a group of reputed drug dealers early Monday after the men were accused of kidnapping one of their customers.

The exchange led to the victim's safe release and the arrest of the three suspected kidnappers, Sgt. Dave Walker said. Francisco Lopez, Jorge Baca and Alfredo Galaviz were arrested on weapon, drug and kidnapping complaints.

Police allege that the victim was kidnapped while trying to buy marijuana from the men about 5 p.m. Sunday. His captors called his girlfriend and said they would dismember and eventually kill the man if they weren't given $1,900, Walker said.

Meanwhile, the victim was taken to a house and bound with speaker wire. His kidnappers are accused to threatening to cut off his toes before shooting him and leaving his body in a ditch, according to arrest reports.

Several officers, including members of a multi-agency warrants squad and the Tulsa Police Department's robbery and narcotics units, were assembled and started undercover negotiations with the alleged kidnappers.

After talking the men into extending a deadline for the money exchange, officers went to the 2200 block of North Harvard Avenue, where the swap took place about 1 a.m. Sunday. Police followed the car and took Lopez, 27, Baca, 20, and Galavis, 21, into custody."

Wait till they start kidnapping cancer patients and "community leaders" who are forced to buy their pot from these guys, rather than in a controlled, taxed environment.
