Sharing from Elliot Nelson's email newsletter.  What a great tie in with the Art of BBQ festival downtown.

"Saturday, September 25th from Noon to 10:00PM

Join us Saturday for McNellie's Inaugural Harvest Beer Festival.  We are closing down Elgin from 1st to the railroad tracks, setting up tents and bringing in some of the region's best breweries so you can sample amazing craft beers, including 15 one-off beers, normally unavailable to sample, brewed just for the event.

Here's a complete list of breweries

Anderson Valley Brewing Company
Battered Boar Brewing Company
Boulevard Brewing Company
Choc Brewing Company
COOP Ale Works
Great Divide Brewing Company
Fellowship of Oklahoma Ale Makers
Left Hand Brewing Company
Marshall Brewing Company
Mustang Brewing Company
Santa Fe Brewing Company
Shiner
Sierra Nevada Brewing Company
Tallgrass Brewing Company

The event, which is 21+, costs $18 per person in advance and $25 at the door.  For that you'll enjoy:

Samples of more than 30 craft beers
A souvenir glass
An opportunity to talk to some of the country's most talented brewmasters

To buy a ticket in advance, head over to McNellie's or email Muriel at muriel@mcnellies.com.

You will also be able to purchase a pint for $5 if you aren't in to the whole "sampling" thing, but just want to come and enjoy what should be a beautiful fall day.

We are looking forward to see you there!"
