Yeah, change it back, now my comment looks out of place  ;)

Yeah, but it makes me look better and that's what matters!

The press conference was rather uncomfortable.  The look on both Daley's and the president's face were very strange.  There is more to this story that I'm sure we will hear about in the near future.

I thought Daley was doing okay in that position.  He has never been a big lefty so perhaps he found himself in an uncomfortable spot.  I guess we will just have to wait for the story to emerge.

The press conference was a follow up to a developing story that immerged last week in the LA Times.

Today's updated story from the Times.

I'd imagine things like this reported by the Washington Post would make for an uncomfortable job preformance review as well:

QuoteBut Daley never appeared comfortable in the job, drawing criticism during the White House's fight with Congressional Republicans during the debt ceiling negotiations last summer. In one embarrassing rebuke, Obama requested to speak to a rare joint session of Congress in September only to be rejected by House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio), who invited him instead to come a day later. The White House claimed that Daley had secured Boehner's agreement to the original date ahead of time, but the speaker's office denied that an agreement was in place.

There was no story last week.  That's when he turned in his resignation to the President.  Nothing was leaked to the press until this morning.  Nice try.  Oops!  Sorry, I paid attention to you.  Won't happen again.

OK

Lew's appointment to COS leaves this one as OMB director.  Not sure how this is going to work out.

Gotta agree. This thread = weak sauce.

Can't we find a suitably outrageous green initiative or a speech lionizing the middle class to ridicule?

The Obama administration is not near as fun as the Clintons.  That was high entertainment.

I miss the new corpse or sexual conquest every week when Clinton was rocking the 'House.

It was more fun when there was less war and more success.
