council primary elections on Tuesday

Three of the nine City Councilors did not run for re-election. Of the remaining six seats, some of them look like they have hard primary opponents. It is pretty rare for an incumbent to lose, but some of them might.

Based on money raised and the number of signs I see in the neighborhoods, I think at least two will lose their seats either on Tuesday or in the general election in November. That would make five new councilors out of nine.

District 5- Roop or Trail, leaning Roop.  Gilbert is done.
District 6- Mautino
District 7- Roemerman
District 8- Gibbs in a squeaker
District 9- GT
