What? The GIRL SCOUTS are a liberal front?

I think it's comical when conservative Republicans start calling each other liberals as has happened in the run up to the primaries.  But now Fox & Friends has decried the Girl Scouts for their "liberal agenda" apparently over a recommendation to fact check rumors on web sites like Snopes and Media Matters. 

As Steven Colbert noted, reality has a well-known liberal bias. 

"Glenn Beck's site The Blaze first wrote about the guide on Tuesday, and said that it was pointed out to them by a parent of Sydney Volankski, a fifteen-year old former Girl Scout who left the organization in 2010 when she says she realized the organization has a "clear liberal ideology."...she started a blog called "Speak Now: Girl Scouts," and on Thursday she popped up on Fox News."

I want to point out that the official Brownie hat looks suspiciously like an ACORN!  And they want us to believe this is merely coincidence!



Even their mission statement reveals the underlying, insidious liberal ideology:

"Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place."

It says nothing, absolutely nothing, about condemning people for being 'different', inventing specious reasons to invade foreign countries, or eliminating capital gains taxes!  It's obvious that these Girl Scouts hate America!

Girl Scouts are active in 82 countries across the globe, meaning that they're very likely to have Muslim, Hindu, or even (gasp!) non-white members.  It's another obvious ploy to admit foreigners into the ranks of an essentially American institution.
