Perry thinks it is over the top to prosecute?  Hmm...this from a guy who thinks it's ok to execute men who have been shown to be non-participants in the crimes they are killed for.  What a distorted view of the world and life.

I've stopped wondering if Perry really believes the bullpucky he's constantly pushing and decided he believes it all with total certainty.  Either that or his poker face is the finest in the known universe.  Either way, how does he not crack up with the absurdity of it all?

At the least its unprofessional. We pride ourselves in having a military that doesn't drag soldiers bodies through the streets and or otherwise publicly desecrate bodies. Taking photos? Like I told my kid when he was riding the bus in middle school, "Eating candy on the bus is against the rules. But if you do it, for heavens sake don't leave the candy wrappers on the seat with your name above it."

This comes at a bad time. We have to recognize that the Taliban is part of the region whether we like it or not. They were once people we relied on to fight the Russians. They are part of established governments now and will increase their presence when we leave the area. Eventually we will have to deal with them diplomatically.
