Tripnet.org, a highway research group, had some bad news (and not unexpected news) for Tulsa drivers. Tulsa was listed as having the 10th worst highways.

And Oklahoma City, the town that some posters on this forum spend way too much time worrying about, is even worse, listed as sixth-worst. (I thought it was my imagination when I perceived OKC's roads as being worse; I guess I wasn't wrong.)

And some of the cities in the top 10 have a far worse tax load than Tulsa and OKC. Among the top 10 are San Jose, Los Angeles, Bay Area, San Diego, Boston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Sacramento and New Orleans.
