The beetle had some loops on the post the door latched to.  Most people thought they were handholds to help get into the back seat.
Wrong.  They are stirrups.  And the back windows should be painted and daisies all over.  Wooden bumpers front and back.  And a curtain rod between front and back seats for some privacy.

Did the Tally's thing this morning.  Bad first - when you buy a breakfast for about 6 bucks (with pancake), and want a little toast to to go with.... a buck and a half!  For toast?  Geeez.  Massive lose.

Orange juice - MAJOR fail!!  Geez, that stuff was disgusting.  Very bitter after taste that just wouldn't go away.  Oak Farms is what the cartoon in the cooler said.  They use Braum's for so much other stuff, why not use Florida's Natural for the orange juice!!  Especially for the price charged for a glass!  Ridiculous!

Fair;
Regular breakfast ok (bacon, eggs, potato and biscuit/gravy).  Not exceptional, though.  A little salt and pepper and it is almost as good as Kenosha Cafe in BA.  Except the eggs....Tally uses regular "grocery store" eggs.  Kenosha has a local source of real farm eggs and they are very good.  Much better than average.

One little oddity with the biscuits...they are pretty good, but don't taste like biscuits.  They have a nice flavor that somehow managed to remind me of coconut.  So, I asked at checkout.  The guy who runs the cash register told me that it is butterscotch flavor.  Interesting.
