I shot this earlier in the summer as the sun was setting. It may or may not be your style, but I liked it.

Try it again.  There was a "#" in the url and this forum didn't like that character.  I modified the url.

Very striking sky. Did you alter it or was it that vibrant?

Looks like it was taken from the area just North of downtown on 244. Maybe up the hill off Cincinnati?

Like it? I love it. It is now my desktop background. Awesome pic.

Thanks, yes the location is on top of the hill across from the OSU-T campus.
I took some creative liberty with saturation and contrast.

I like it too.  Moments like that are magical because they're so fleeting.  Is this a high dynamic range image?

May you live in interesting times.

I love standpipe hill.  It's so deserted that it makes for a great place to take a girl to show off the view.  I wish that OSU would get off their behinds and develope it already.  Can you imagine a dorm tower or two being build there?  I have a very special place in my heart for that hill.

I have never been there. How do I find it?

This also might.  It's my understanding that Cincinnati ran right through where the 'standpipe' was at the top of the hill.  So just west of it would probably be as close a vantage point as you will get.

It is not HDR.  HDR requires 3 or more images of various exposures.  This is a single image.

A single tone mapped image, from the look of it, but aggressive use of curves in Photoshop can sometimes produce the same halo effect.
