Really.  Poor Mittens makes Joe look like a rank amateur...

Quote1. "There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. ... My job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives." -Mitt Romney, in leaked comments from a fundraiser in May 2012

2. "Corporations are people, my friend ... of course they are. Everything corporations earn ultimately goes to the people. Where do you think it goes? Whose pockets? Whose pockets? People's pockets. Human beings, my friend." —Mitt Romney to a heckler at the Iowa State Fair who suggested that taxes should be raised on corporations as part of balancing the budget (August 2011)

3. "When you have a fire in an aircraft, there's no place to go, exactly, there's no -- and you can't find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don't open. I don't know why they don't do that. It's a real problem." –Mitt Romney, suggesting it would be a good idea to crack a window at 35,000 feet, Beverly Hills fundraiser, Sept. 22, 2012

4. "I like being able to fire people who provide services to me." –Mitt Romney, using an unfortunate choice of words while advocating for consumer choice in health insurance plans (January 2012)

5. "I'm not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there." —Mitt Romney (January 2012)

6."I went to a number of women's groups and said 'Can you help us find folks?' and they brought us whole binders full of women." —Mitt Romney, on staffing his cabinet while he was governor of Massachusetts, presidential debate, Oct. 16, 2012

7. "As president, I will create 12 million new jobs." —Mitt Romney, during the second presidential debate
"Government does not create jobs. Government does not create jobs." —Mitt Romney, 45 minutes later (Oct. 16, 2012)

8. "My dad, as you probably know, was the governor of Michigan and was the head of a car company. But he was born in Mexico... and had he been born of, uh, Mexican parents, I'd have a better shot at winning this. But he was unfortunately born to Americans living in Mexico. He lived there for a number of years. I mean, I say that jokingly, but it would be helpful to be Latino." -Mitt Romney, in leaked comments from a Florida fundraiser, May 17 2012

9. "It's hard to know just how well [the 2012 London Olympics] will turn out. There are a few things that were disconcerting. The stories about the private security firm not having enough people, the supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials, that obviously is not something which is encouraging." –Mitt Romney, insulting Britain on the eve of the Olympics by suggesting the country is not ready, NBC News interview, July 25, 2012

10. "I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that's the America millions of Americans believe in. That's the America I love." –Mitt Romney (January 2012)

But I'm sure Gweed or Gas or ErfZombie or someone will come to Willard's defense.  Joe's gaffes?  Pretty harmless.

Willards?

Let's see -- he's pissed off the Brits, the Russians, the Palestinians...oh, let's not forget today and the Italians!

Biden's gaffes are of the 'oh, that's just Joe being Joe' variety.  Not quite known him to piss off two countries in six months....

He's funny.

You just always know you are gonna get at least a single-face palm moment from him!  It is always something to look forward to or cringe about, every time he starts to talk.

One little side note about Ryan....(Ryan who??)

Got to admire how he maintains the strength of his convictions SOOOOO strongly...believing every minute of every day that he WILL be the next Vice President of the US.  Just makes me wonder why he is advertising so heavily in Wisconsin to win reelection to his Congressional seat??

I guess if he wins either one, he can "pick and choose" the one he really wants to do....so which set of "promises" and commitments is he gonna keep??  The VP ones, or will he shirk the Congressional duties he is trying so hard to win??  Guess ya gotta hedge your bets when there is so much "uncertainty" in the economy these days.  Just never know when the next job might come along...

Yep ole Joe is like that uncle that drinks too much wine at the Thanksgiving Diner...................

However, he is a heart beat away from the Presidency.

I don't want my Uncle Jr. a heart beat away from the Presidency.

But but but but Romney.  But but but but Palin. But but but but look over here.  Channeling my inner, whiny Hoss.

Apparently if every thread in here doesn't butt slam Romney is some way, Hoss will find a way to work it in so it will eff it up for everyone.
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

Yep.  But you know, it just works out that way naturally, so what can ya say....
Romney just keeps doing it to himself...over and over.  And I really had such great hopes for him.  He was doing fine until he got the mega-dose Fool-Aid.

Where is Hillary when we need her?  And Joe Lieberman?

I like that you worry about me so much Gweed.  I didn't really know that you cared.

;D

I notice you've been off on your posts lately.  Have you run out of visual aids to present?

It never ceases to amaze me just how far Fox will go to lie about anything and everything.  Yesterday, we saw the REAL response in Benghazi - 24 minutes!

This morning, they are yapping about the storm - some guy named Neil Cavuto (yeah, I know who Cavuto is) - and he sits there with a straight face talking with some other uni-brow clown (no offense TTC...) literally saying out loud that there are 3,000,000 (million) people without power this morning.  Blatant, disgusting, despicable - lies.  It's all they know.

Even the most modest search could show these people that ConEd reported YESTERDAY that they had restored power to about 100,000 in Manhattan yesterday.  84,000 power restored on Staten Island yesterday (hardest hit area from the storm?).  Staten Island has a population of under half a million, so power to 84,000 places is big - most of the power has been restored.

And as of this morning - they are down to 250,000 without power across all five boroughs.

In addition, Cuomo has sent fuel trucks to armories in five locations (each holding 5,000 gallons) to distribute to any and all who come by - they WANT it to go to emergency workers, but will go to general public.  They started out full, and have 150,000 gallons additional to replenish during the day.  And there is no charge.  (And what kind of selfish person would it be to go out when they don't need to or don't to be part of the relief?  Oh, yeah...that would very likely be someone who is big fan of Fox.)

Yep, there are lines and will continue to be for at least a few days, I would bet.  This event has a very good reason for lines - power out for several day, no trucks available for several day to move fuel, or clear roads to move it on.  I don't see Cavuto or any other of his Ilk down there doing anything to actually contribute to the effort - the least he could do would be to help clear a few feet of street to enable traffic movement.

NYPD police department has been in Staten Island for the entire time, again, completely and totally at odds with the lies the Fox is spewing.  They are the ones who found those two little boys swept from their mother in the flood.

There are as many heart wrenching stories going to come from this as Katrina or any other natural or man made disaster.  And Fox stands at the ready to distort, contort, contrive, falsify, and lie about all of them.

Cavuto finally mentioned the gasoline Cuomo is making available...what, about an hour after I saw it...  Mentioned it, for about 10 seconds, then went on to the Psycho-Newt.  Guess he had to get his full one hour in about how nothing has been done to help New York.

Wonder where his office is?  Wouldn't be in New York, or there wouldn't be any power....

I'd rather have Biden and all his gaffes than the sociopaths that the Republicans run. I'd be even happier with some folks who don't worship the almighty dollar, but the chance of that is near zero.
