The next thing we will hear is the Saudi involvment in 9/11 ... is this a gateway story? You keep sending us the oil and you can do whatever you want to keep your regime in power, even if it's paying off the terrorists who committed 9/11. Where's McCain't on this one?

Documents Back Saudi Link to Extremists
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/24/world/middleeast/24saudi.html

" the thousands of pages of previously undisclosed documents compiled by lawyers for the Sept. 11 families and their insurers represented an unusually detailed look at some of the evidence.... two intriguing pieces of evidence in the Saudi puzzle might still remain off limits.

One is a 28-page, classified section of the 2003 joint Congressional inquiry into the Sept. 11 attacks. The secret section is believed to discuss intelligence on Saudi financial links to two hijackers, and the Saudis themselves urged at the time that it be made public. President George W. Bush declined to do so.

Kristen Breitweiser, an advocate for Sept. 11 families, whose husband was killed in the World Trade Center, said in an interview that during a White House meeting in February between President Obama and victims' families, the president told her that he was willing to make the pages public.

But she said she had not heard from the White House since then.

The other evidence that may not be admissible consists of classified documents leaked to one of the law firms representing the families, Motley Rice of South Carolina, which is headed by Ronald Motley, a well-known trial lawyer who won lucrative lawsuits involving asbestos and tobacco.

Lawyers for the firm say someone anonymously slipped them 55 documents that contained classified government material relating to the Saudi lawsuit."

Now lets see if the repubs will call for boycott of Saudi Arabia or even elections in that dictatorship country. FOTD thinks not since they are OUR friendly dictatorship and we don't want to upset the apple cart.

(CNN) Missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi may have recorded his own death, a Turkish newspaper reported Saturday morning.
Khashoggi turned on the recording function of his Apple Watch before walking into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2 , according to Sabah newspaper.
The moments of his "interrogation, torture and killing were audio recorded and sent to both his phone and to iCloud," the pro-government, privately owned newspaper paper reported. The Turkish newspaper said conversations of the men involved in the reported assassination were recorded.

Would expect nothing less from the Trump/Putin/Saudi conglomerate.

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

There's speculation that Turkish intelligence agencies had the Saudi consulate wired for sound and are using the Apple Watch as an excuse so that they can release any potential audio of the murder in the future.
